Information got here out as we speak that china as soon as once more is trying to ban cryptocurrency mining. How probably is that this to occur and the way would it not impact bitcoin and crypto? Would it not nonetheless be safe though we would lose 70% of hash fee?

  • Thanks for watching! How important do you think Chinas large share of the hash rate is for crypto? Let me know below

  • This has got to be at least the tenth time in the past 6 years they talked about this. Nothing will happen.

I prefer to comment in the academy's forum, however I believe this is one of the most important elements of crypto discussion.
What I would say is that China is a country that has many faces. Absolutely, nothing is as it seems in China. No business can reach significant scale in China without being a hand in glove, instrument of the governments strategic policy. Not Huawei…Not Bitmain….Not Binance. Who know's, maybe Bitmain never paid anything for it's power. or people, in exchange for its BTC stocks. All the news statements are just false flags, propaganda and noise. Don't look at what the say they are going to do…watch what they actually do. Maybe China's BTC strategy is the same as it's rare earth material strategies. i.e. (to own it all). Let's just stop and think about what that means for the future of BTC.

  • China's government is already mining and they want their competition gone, so, they'll claim it's rogue agents mining when it's them.

  • China is at it again 🙂 Looks like they don't get it. Banning mining in a corrupt state is like a game of whack-a-mole. Punish one province, miners bribe politicians in another one.

  • If they do ban it, in my opinion, the bitcion price wil drop on the shourt term, as they will sell there bitcoin in order to finance the relocation or just because they will close the farms.

  • Why wouldn’t they just move out of China?

  • China is home to 90% of traders?! Holy crap

  • As a miner I'm praying for this, we'd have at least a good couple of months. The price of BTC may rise as well as all the cheap BTC that is dumped on the markets from the cheap Chinese farms drys up. The only BTC left would be the more expensive ones from the more expensive mining countries which would be more scarce. Whether you're a miner or HODL'er you would benefit.

  • Miners will move to more friendly countries and honestly I hope this will happen! This is actually a good news.

  • decentralization and non censorship thinking is their enemy. Sooner or later all will be banned. Only QQ, wechat coin and Ali coin can be kept. I think

  • if 70 percent of the miners stop mining, then I can probably mine on my laptop again 😜 would be awesome
